Project Overview
The homeowners at Dawes Street wanted a deck railing that felt modern and streamlined, something that adds safety yet doesn’t dominate the visual space. Their goal was a railing system that offers durability, clean lines, and a design that complements their home’s architecture, without bulky vertical posts or overly ornate detailing.
We installed our RodRail Horizontal Rail System with square aluminum posts and a dark-bronze powder-coat finish. The horizontal ½″ round aluminum rods stretch across the span, creating crisp, uninterrupted lines that enhance the sense of width and openness. The aluminum top bar provides subtle structure and a clean finish, without disrupting the minimalist aesthetic.
Thanks to aluminum’s inherent advantages, corrosion resistance, light weight, durability, and very low maintenance needs, this railing delivers long-term performance for outdoor use. Unlike wood, it won’t warp or rot, and unlike untreated metal, it won’t rust under exposure to weather.
