Project Overview
This Tiburon glass railing runs along a hillside patio with an open outlook across the bay to the city. On a site where the view carries the whole property, any post would have been one post too many.
We installed our spigot mount glass railing system – 9/16 inch clear laminated glass panels carried on stainless spigots fixed into the patio, with no posts and no top rail. The glass runs unbroken from one end of the terrace to the other.
Spigot mount is the most transparent railing we build. With all the hardware confined to small fixings at the base there is nothing at eye level at all, so from a seated position on the patio the bay reads as though the railing were not there.
