Project Overview
Perched above the water with expansive views across the bay, this Sausalito property residence needed a railing that would protect the outdoor living space without competing with the scenery. The goal was a clean, modern railing that felt light and open — strong enough for an elevated, hillside setting while visually disappearing against the horizon.
We installed our spigot mount glass railing system – 1/2 inch clear tempered glass panels carried on stainless spigots surface-mounted to the deck, with no posts at all, finished with a slim black powder-coated top rail. The spigots keep every fixing down at the base, and the top rail ties the panels into one continuous line that carries along the deck edge and down into the stair without a single post interrupting the view.
The final result is a sleek, low-visual-impact glass railing that balances safety, durability, and design, ideal for Sausalito’s coastal environment and for homeowners who want uninterrupted sight-lines from a high-end outdoor deck.
