Project Overview
For the Sky Farm residence in Santa Rosa, the homeowners wanted a deck railing that would vanish visually, no bulky posts, no rails, just crystal-clear glass and open sky. Their goal was a modern, minimalist deck that preserves view, light, and openness while delivering safety and structural integrity.
We used our spigot-mount glass railing system with 9/16″ laminated glass and sleek matte-black stainless-steel spigots to create that effect. By mounting the glass directly to the deck fascia, without visible posts or top bars, the glass appears as a floating, transparent barrier. The choice of laminated glass ensures enhanced safety and durability over time, especially in outdoor conditions.
The result is an elegant, low-maintenance deck railing that feels light, open, and modern, a perfect complement to a contemporary outdoor living space. The matte-black hardware adds a refined, sophisticated touch that ties into contemporary architectural styling while the laminated glass delivers clarity and safety for years to come.
