Project Overview
The Whitham residence presented a unique design challenge; the homeowners wanted a cable railing system that delivers clean, unobstructed sightlines while ensuring safety, durability, and minimal maintenance. Given their deck layout and attention to modern design, a fascia‐mounted cable railing made perfect sense.
Our team worked closely with the homeowner, general contractor, and the engineer of record to deliver a fully engineered cable railing solution. We coordinated deck framing and structural blocking to meet load requirements and ensure stability under tensioned cables. From initial 3D-scanning to final installation, every step was planned and executed carefully.
With the cable railing in place, paired with the Trex deck and fascia boards, the outdoor space achieves a modern, minimalist aesthetic that’s essentially maintenance-free, ideal for those who want long-lasting performance without constant upkeep.
